It’s official: 2017 is the future.
After taking time off from the music game, Ed Sheeran is kicking off the new year with the release of his highly-anticipated new single!
But before the unnamed track officially drops on Friday, fans have already been getting a taste of the marimba-filled single… courtesy of Snapchat, of all places!!

Fans began uploading the audio teaser on Thursday via a new Snapchat filter that features the arrangements for the track — and you thought Beyonc├â┬⌐ knew how to promote new material!
While only about 30 seconds of the song are currently available, the teaser does unveil a few lyrics, like:
“The club isn’t the best place to find a lover, so the bar is where I go.”
Sounds like another hit to us!
