Eddie Murphy Quits The Oscars Too!

Wow! The Oscars is gonna have to undergo a major facelift now!
After Brett Ratner was forced to resign for his rude comments, Eddie Murphy has stepped down from the hosting spot!
Though he doesn’t directly say it’s due to the loss of Brett by his side (Ratner recently directed Murphy’s Tower Heist), that’s what everyone’s thinking, including the Academy’s President Tom Sherak who says:

I appreciate how Eddie feels about losing his creative partner, Brett Ratner, and we all wish him well.

As for Eddie, here’s what his statement says:

First and foremost I want to say that I completely understand and support each party’s decision with regard to a change of producers for this year’s Academy Awards ceremony. I was truly looking forward to being a part of the show that our production team and writers were just starting to develop, but I’m sure that the new production team and host will do an equally great job.

Okay, okay, okay. We think we can deal with this. Just give us a moment.
….
Annnnd we’re good! All right! Now, WHO should be the new host!?!
