Elephant Seal Causes Traffic Jam In Brazil

We guess sometimes you just gotta venture outside your comfort zone.
And we guess that means if you’re an elephant seal, you leave the water and head into the city!
At the beach resort town of Balneario Camboriu in Southern Brazil, a huge seal waddled into the street.
It was being safe at least, because it crossed at the crosswalk! Ha!
The giant sea mammal, who weighed over half a ton, held up traffic for over an hour as police and rescuers made sure to keep splashing water on the beast.
Luckily, the seal wasn’t injured and no one got close enough to be hurt by it, and it eventually made its way back to the water.
