Apparently Elisabeth Moss isn’t the only one who thinks Fred Armisen was a lousy husband.
So does Fred Armisen!
The Saturday Night Live funnyman spoke to Howard Stern recently, and the shock jock wanted to know what Fred thought of his ex’s harsh public comments about him.
Surprisingly, instead of striking back, Fred actually agrees with the Mad Men star! Of the couple’s quick divorce, he says:
“I think I was a terrible husband, I think I’m a terrible boyfriend… I feel bad for everyone I’ve gone out with.”
Wow! What does Fred do that’s so bad?
He says part of it is that he moves too quickly before being sure about relationships. He says:
“I want it all … fast. I want to be married, I want to live together … and then somewhere around a year or two years, I get freaked out. I freak out emotionally and then I actually feel like ‘Oh my God, who’s this stranger in my house?'”
If he treated Elisabeth like a stranger, we can understand how he didn’t exactly seem like a very nice guy — or too normal for that matter.
Although that would be an interesting way to keep things from getting stale in the bedroom…
