It appears that Elon Musk has moved on from his Amber Heard-related heartbreak.
On Monday, it was reported that the celebrated business mogul has begun dating musician Grimes (whose real name is Claire Boucher). This relationship update was seemingly confirmed when the twosome walked the Met Gala red carpet together. We know, this escalated quickly!!

According to reports, the pair met online about a month ago, as the Oblivion artist had made a joke about artificial intelligence that thoroughly impressed the SpaceX CEO. Supposedly, Musk had planned to make a quip about the complications of artificial intelligence, when he realized Grimes had beat him to the punch.
After seeing her comments on the matter, Elon decided to reach out to the 30-year-old music maker. An insider spilled:
“Elon was researching the idea of joking about Rococo Basilisk, and when he saw Grimes had already joked about it, he reached out to her. Grimes said this was the first time in three years that anyone understood the joke. They were both poking fun at AI.”
Awwwwww. We love seeing two nerds fall in love!!
The 46-year-old teased his artistically gifted date for the Met Gala earlier this week, as he posted online:

In case you forgot, back in 2015, Grimes created the character Rococo Basilisk for her Flesh Without Blood music video.
We can’t say we’re surprised that these two have ended up together, as Musk has previously vocalized his love for Grimes’ music in the past. In fact, back in March, he had THIS to say about her music video collaboration with Janelle Monae:
“Best music video art I’ve seen in a while.”
The pair have exchanged a few flirty moments online, especially recently. Case in point:
