Elton John sure knows how to shop!
On Christmas Eve, the new proud poppa stopped by Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills to pick up some last minute gifts.
Elton ended up spending $30,000 on 12 cashmere robes, which held up the line at the cash register.
According to a holiday shopper, the singer politely turned around to the customers behind him and said: “I apologize for holding the queue up. I’ll be right out in a moment.”
And guess what? They didn’t mind at all!
A woman waiting in line leaped at the opportunity to have a convo with Elton, saying: “No, take your time. It’s a pleasure to watch someone shop like that. I only wish I could.”
Her husband adding: “Believe me, she tries. That’s why I’m chaperoning this trip here.”
How cheese-tastic!
