Anchorman Ron Burgundy Will Have A College's School Of Communication Named After Him!

He is a god walking amongst mere mortals. He has a voice that could make a wolverine purr. His suits are so fine, he makes Sinatra look like a hobo.
And now, Ron Burgundy has his own school of communication named after him!
No, that headline is not Veronica Corningstone pulling another prank. This news is REAL!
Emerson College recently announced they will rename their School of Communication after the legendary Anchorman character!
That’s kind of a big deal!
Will Ferrell will even attend the dedication (in character, of course) at the Boston college’s campus and speak to students about his path to journalistic greatness! Following the ceremony, a special screening of Anchorman 2 will take place!
Emerson’s President Lee Pelton said of Mr. Burgundy:

├óΓé¼┼ô[He] understands the power of media, as well as hairspray, firsthand.”

Unfortunately, this name change will only be in effect for one day and one day only on December 4th!
That’s it?! WTF, Emerson?! That’s bush! That is bush league! We think you should keep it The Ron Burgundy School of Communication forever!
Oh wellz. Congrats on this honor, Mr. Burgundy! You deserve it!
