Emily Deschanel Says Veganism Is The Most Compassionate Way To Live Life

Emily Deschanel might deal with Bones every time she’s on TV, but she doesn’t have to deal with her food having them — and she feels like that’s the MOST compassionate way to go through life!

Here’s what she said:

“I do think [veganism is] the most humane and environmentally sound way to live.”

Well, we’re sure some other people would disagree — but that’s okay! Everyone’s allowed to feel how they want!

Speaking of feeling, does Emily get all kinds of grossed out when people eat meat around her?

“You know, there’s a certain amount of grossness, I guess, to me, but I’ve lived for 20 years with people eating meat next to me, and I have to be understanding of where they are and their choices if I want them to understand my choices. So I try to be tolerant and understanding. Yeah, it grosses me out on a certain level, but I have become used to that, I guess you could say.

├óΓé¼┼ôI don├óΓé¼Γäót believe that animals are ours to use or to harm.”

There’s nothing wrong with compassion or conviction! If she’s happy, we’re happy — and if animals are happy, then that’s great too!

Happiness all around!
