Poor guy. Can’t imagine how rough this must be.
In his latest interview with Rolling Stone, Eminem talked candidly about his five-year battle with prescription drugs and revealed that he suffered massive memory loss due to his addiction. In fact, there are several memorable moments of his career that he hasn’t a single memory of, a result of the years she spent popping Ambien as well as other pills.
He explains further in his interview:
“A lot of my memory is gone. I don’t know if you’ve ever taken Ambien, but it’s kind of a memory-eraser. That s**t wiped out five years of my life. People will tell me stories, and it’s like, ‘I did that?’ I saw myself doing this thing on Bet (TV network) recently, and I was like, ‘When was that?'”
Crazy. Such an unfortunate side effect.
At least there are videos, photos, etc. of these moments so he can at least try to piece things together. Imagine how awful he would feel if he couldn’t even attempt to relive these huge moments in his life.
