Even though Emma Watson said she would never design a collection for the sake of her ego, she will be designing a small capsule collection because of how beneficial it will be to the environment.
Soon, Emma will be unveling her Love From Emma collection for People Tree, where she is also “creative advisor“.
Her Love collection will be aimed at teenagers and will also be made from organic and fair trade certified cotton.
Emma says “I wanted to help People Tree produce a younger range because I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ it has been the most incredible gap year project.”
The Harry Potter starlet also wants to educate youth on eco-friendly options when it comes to fashion, adding “I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren├óΓé¼Γäót many options out there.”
Maybe when the People Tree collection she’s been advising hits shelves this month we’ll get a better idea of what Emma will be creating.
