And a risque one at that!
Emmy Rossum will be starring in the upcoming Showtime adaptation of long-running British black comedy Shameless alongside William H. Macy.
Shameless is about a working-class family from Chicago dealing with the recession. With their mother out of the picture and father, played by Macy, constantly hitting the bottle, Emmy’s character Fiona keeps her 5 younger siblings in line.
The show is an edgy one in England and we have no doubt it will possess a similar tone on Showtime, home of other dark programming like Weeds, Californication and Dexter!
We can’t wait to see it!
