These two are a couple of country cuties!
Blake Shelton popped the question to Miranda Lambert over the weekend after five years of dating!
Miranda says:
“He called my dad and got his blessing first. That was so Southern and old-school and perfect. I was so proud of him. We’ve been together five years, so he knew exactly what I wanted but it’s [the ring] so much more perfect than I could have picked out myself.
“2010 will not be forgotten in my world. Weddings are great and engagements are great and diamonds are especially great. But I’m just excited to be married because I want to tell Blake I really can love him the rest of my life and be happy and make him happy.”
So sweet!
She has had a big year scoring her first number one single with “White Liar” and winning Album of the Year and Top Female Vocalist at the ACM Awards. She and Blake have both been nominated for CMT Awards as well.
