Mel B vs Stephen BelafonteIn the weeks following Mel B's shocking announcement that she had filed for divorce after 10 years, the once and future Scary Spice accused Stephen Belafonte of physical abuse, cheating, sexual exploitation, and more. Belafonte hit back calling the allegations an outrageous smear campaign and claiming when the truth came out it would offend real victims of abuse. Finally, in August 2018, Belafonte won big in the divorce settlement -- with a judge ordering he be paid $5,000 a month in child support on top of the $15,000 a month he's already been getting in spousal support. Mel also has to pay for his $35,000 in lawyer's fees. The two will share 50/50 custody of their daughter.
