Lawsuit Setback | May 1, 2020Meg suffered a major setback in her suit against Associated Newspapers when the presiding judge struck out several Mail on Sunday articles from evidence. Justice Mark Warby also dismissed several of the Duchess’ claims (including that the paper acted dishonestly by publishing the private letter to her father) as irrelevant to the case. A source told Vanity Fair the ruling may have come as a blow, but it didn’t shake their resolve, and "Meghan has no intention of dropping the legal action against the newspaper and still believes that she can win in the trial."
