You tell ‘em, girl!
Erin Andrews has always been one of the hottest ladies in sports broadcasting, which is a double edged sword.
Sure, she’s beloved by almost everyone because she’s so darn charming, but whenever she gets honest about how hard she works to take care of her body, she gets backlash.
Like when she was recently featured on Health magazine’s cover!
The 36-year-old stunner explained:
“It’s funny when you post that and people are like, ‘Well, that’s hard-hitting journalism.’ Uh, my mentor and a guy I look up to in the industry, Michael Strahan, he was on the cover of a men’s health magazine, Men’s Fitness… [On] the Fox NFL pregame show, [the male broadcasters] are dressed to the nines. Their stylists, who I’m very good friends with, dress them very well, and no one says anything about that… That kind of stuff used to upset me, and I think I used to hold back. Now I embrace it. It’s awesome. The boys are doing it, why can’t I do it? What’s wrong with showing that you’re a woman who takes care of her body and works out and likes to dress up and wear lip gloss? And hey, she can hang with the boys.”
Umm├óΓé¼┬ª there├óΓé¼Γäós NOTHING wrong with that at ALL! In fact, it’s awesome!
Still, there will be people who critique Erin, but it sounds like she’s got a realistic view of the world… as unfair as it might seem.
But you know what is fair? Looking that amazing because she worked hard to!
