ESPN And NFL Close To Making $2 Billion Deal

ESPN and the NFL are close to finalizing a $2 billion per year new media rights deal, a 40% increase from previous years.

“We continue to have conversations with the NFL and have not yet reached a new agreement,” said ESPN spokesman Mik Soltys.

The deal will likely take weeks to finalize, but it will give ESPN rights for 9-10 years, taking them into the 2020s.
