Etta James' Husband Wins Control Of Her Estate, Will Remain Conservator

A judge in Riverside County ruled that Etta James‘ husband will remain conservator of her estate.

Artis Mills and Etta’s two sons have been battling back and forth for control of Etta’s assets.
The singer needs constant medical attention and suffers from dementia and kidney failure. She is also terminally ill from chronic leukemia.
Her sons, Donto and Sametto, say their only request was for Etta to be taken to a hospital. This request was denied and she will continue to receive care from her million dollar esate.
We’re sad to see the great singer‘s health deteriorate and we wish her family our condolences.
