Eva Amurri Martino Responds To Critics After Revealing Her Son's Cracked Skull Incident: 'Parenthood Is Not A Competition'

eva amurri martino claps back at haters
Eva Amurri Martino has no time for haters.
As we previously reported, Susan Sarandon‘s daughter revealed earlier this week that her son, Major James, suffered from a cracked skull shortly after Thanksgiving when a night nurse dropped him. How awful!

Despite opening up about the incident in a candid note on her blog, Miz Amurri Martino has since faced some serious criticism about the incident. However Eva isn’t going to let internet trolls bully her over the health scare, as on Monday, she took to Instagram and posted:

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has reached out with words of comfort or to share their own stories the past 24 hours. It is so moving to know there are so many of you who are wishing our sweet boy well, and who are rooting us on as a family. I’d like to say one thing, which is that Parenthood is not a competition. Nobody gets an award at the end of all of it for doing it the best or most perfect way. All that matters is how we make our children feel, how we feel about them, and how we feel about ourselves as parents. To those who have expressed judgement, cruelty, and criticism of me, my choices, or my fragility during this time- I’m not going to justify myself to you. But I sincerely wish that 2017 brings you enough self love and confidence that you no longer feel the need to tear down another person during their darkest moment. ├ó┬¥┬ñ├░┼╕Γäó┬Å├░┼╕┬Å┬╝├ó┼ô┬¿ Peace, please. Preach, girl.
We’re honestly so glad to see that the 31-year-old isn’t letting the shade get to her as she previously shared she was struggling with some sort of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. To make matters worse, Eva believes this battle with PTSD might be linked to Postpartum Depression. So sad!
Nonetheless, we think the mother-of-two is an incredible parent, and we’re wishing her only the best as she tries to get through this particularly tough time. We’re thinking of you, Eva!
