It looks like third time is a charm for Eva Longoria!
In a recent interview, Eva admitted she and her adorable fianc├â┬⌐ Jos├â┬⌐ “Pepe” Baston already call each other husband and wife. So cute!
According to Longoria, the marital feelings started happening even BEFORE José proposed. Even though E.L. already has two marriages behind her, something about this union always felt right!

Speaking on her seamless love with Baston, the actress gushed:
“We’ve been calling each other husband and wife for a while. What makes my relationship with Pepe so much sweeter is that I don’t put pressure on myself or the idea of marriage as much as I did when I was younger. I wanted to walk down the aisle, I wanted a dress, I wanted the church. Once you realize a wedding isn’t a marriage, then you can learn to appreciate it more, and it lessens the expectations when you’ve gone through it.”
Aw! We guess growing older gives you some much needed perspective. It also doesn’t hurt that Mr. Pepe has already been married once before and has three kids of his own — insta-mom, anyone?!
Eva also went on to joke about their gorgeous Dubai engagement last December:
“The word fianc├â┬⌐e feels like I got demoted! We feel married.”
Ha! We bet the beauty just can’t wait until her “big, fat, Mexican” wedding!
As for Longoria’s advice to young women looking to get hitched, she shares:
“I used to care so deeply about all of those things that peck away at a relationship. If I let go of the reins, I know Pepe knows how to drive, and I trust that. I’ve found patience to relax and let go.”
What wise words. That message can apply to SO many things in life…
