Ever wanted to steal Eva Mendes‘ style?

The actress has signed a mult-year deal with New York & Co. to not only be the face of the brand, but also launch her own line Eva by Eva Mendes.
NY&Co’s using their first big partnership to expand their offerings of pants and jeans, which they’re known for, and introduce day-to-dinner, cocktail and evening categories.
This is where Eva’s expertise will be especially helpful, considering how many times she’s skipped down the red carpet.
Greg Scott, the company’s CEO, is very excited to have Ryan Gosling‘s girlfriend on board, saying:
“We want her influence in the collection. She has amazing red carpet style and also has a very unique style off the red carpet. She has a real sense of self, which will help us in terms of the design aesthetic. When we look at her, she really is confident.”
Eva is also very excited, or at least contractually obligated to say so! She adds:
“I love anything that winks to yesteryear. You have to find what works for you. Quite a few times I├óΓé¼Γäóve worn turbanlike accessories. In this day and age where everybody has a stylist, I appreciate the kind of woman who steps out of the box. I love feeling like an individual. I want to share all these little tips with women. I have a ton of ideas, but it├óΓé¼Γäós a bit early to discuss them. [The project] is taking up all my time, but in the best way possible. Everything I see is a possible design. My mind is consumed by it. I├óΓé¼Γäóm fortunate enough to travel to so many exotic places. I could find inspiration in a gate in Istanbul for a plate or a blouse.”
