If not, then you’re in the minority, because the newly released self-titled follow-up to Evanescence’s 2006 album The Open Door has hit #1 on the Billboard 200 Chart!!!!
Not only that, but What You Want rose from #15 to #13 on the Rock Songs airplay chart this week. Not amazing, but still moving in the right direction.
Bands who haven’t released albums in a while should take this as a sign that it’s possible to come back strong!
Maybe *NSYNC actually WILL take a cue from this, and release a record-breaking new album! Just imagine it! For the first time in over a decade, teenie boppers will have *NSYNC-themed birthday parties, and it’ll ALL be thanks to Evanescence!
