The creator of Family Guy, Seth McFarlane, agrees with people who complain about the quality of new Family Guy episodes — and says it should have been off the air years ago!
And we thought he was the one fighting to keep it on. Interesting!
Here’s what he said:
“Part of me thinks that Family Guy should have already ended. I think seven seasons is about the right lifespan for a TV series. I talk to the fans and in a way I’m kind of secretly hoping for them to say we’re done with it. There are plenty of people who say the show is kind of over the hill … but still the vast majority go pale in the face when I mention the possibility.”
Wow! That’s extremely open about the whole thing WHILE the show is still on air!
As long as he keeps wanting to do American Dad (which is vastly superior to Family Guy), we’ll be more than okay if Family Guy bites the dust.
