So, remember when we posted earlier about Paris Hilton‘s ex boy toy Doug Reinhardt and how he was slapped with a restraining order from his neighbor?
Well, apparently, Doug had no IDEA that this whole “holding a hearing and having a restraining order granted” thing was happening!
WHAAAAAT?!
In a statement made EXCLUSIVELY to PerezHilton.com, Doug’s lawyer, Robert C. O’Brien, said:
“Doug Reinhardt was surprised and very disappointed that one of his neighbors took a complaint about alleged noise at a party that could have been handled in a conversation over the backyard fence to the courts. The neighbor did not even have the courtesy to inform Mr. Reinhardt of the hearing, so that Doug could appear and tell his side of the story. That will happen at a hearing soon and Mr. Reinhardt looks forward to the opportunity.”
Isn’t that a requirement, that the person being restrained is notified?!?
What a crazy story!
We wonder what Doug’s ex Lauren Conrad thinks of this whole situation!!
