Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes aka The Wanted officially announced they were taking a break following their U.S. tour’s end in May.
Now, most of the members have been hush-hush since the split, except for Max!
The unofficial bad boy of the group wasn’t shy about expressing his bitter feelings in a recent interview with The Sun, basically throwing 3/5 of his band under the bus:
“Our personal lives drove us apart ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ things started to happen and we were drifting….We had a very difficult conversation. Our manager Scooter Braun asked us who would want to take a step out after the tour and try to do their own thing. Me and Nathan [Sykes] both said we have our own ambitions. We were more prepared than the others because we’d looked at how things had been going with the band over the past few months. No one should be surprised.├óΓé¼┬¥

So while EXCLUSIVELY interviewing Siva Kaneswaran yesterday, we obvi had to ask about Max’s comments!
He explained all the other guys found out about the basic bashing via social media, and were completely shocked! Trying to remain positive, he offered up a suggestion for how to remedy the situation:
“I think we all need to talk, sit down, and discuss this as a band. And honestly, I think quite frankly, what Max did was very disappointing. We really have to sit down and discuss this. And I mean, figure out if it’s something that we can move past and just communicate. I think that was the problem, not communicating.”
Is this something the guys can move past?!
Siva told us there’s been tension ever since their E! series wrapped – so this might be too much to forget!
All fans can do is hope for the best, right?!
