Four of the major movie studios have reached a deal that will see 3-D technology become much more prevalent.
Disney, 20th Century Fox, Paramount and Universal Pictures have agreed to finance and equip 10,000 more theater screens in the U.S. and Canada to make them 3-D compatible.
The cost? $700 million!
The upside???? The studios are banking on BIG excitement and bigger profits for 3-D films.
