Former Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher is said to no longer be in a coma!
Schumacher has been in a French hospital in Grenoble since a skiing accident late last year that many feared would cost him his life! The 45-year-old suffered severe head trauma and has been monitored closely by doctors ever since!
Now, the seven-time world champion is being transferred to a rehabilitation center in Lausanne, Switzerland where he will continue his treatment.
An investigation into Michael’s accident showed that speed did not play a factor in his fall. Experts believe Schumacher, an experienced skier, hit a rock hidden beneath the snow which sent him flying head first into another rock!
A camera attached to Schumacher’s helmet has also been used to learn more about this scary incident!
Most important though is that Michael is making HUGE strides towards a full recovery!
