This puppy is only four months old, but he’s already had a lot of ups and downs in his life!
Lentil, a French Bulldog, was born with a primary and secondary cleft palate – which means eating for him can be one dangerous activity!
But thanks to his foster owner Lindsay, who set up a Facebook page for Lentil, the money for the surgery he needs has already been raised!
In fact, Lentil made so much money – they’re donating the remains of the raised money to animal shelters!
Lentil is undergoing surgery today at the University of Pennsylvania.
Even though Lentil may need more surgery, and it will be a long time before he’s completely healthy, we’re glad he’s taking that first step towards a life without health complications!
