Lost and then found!
In Mumbai, India – a senior police investigator was in some serious distress!
Not because of any crimes, but because his beloved dog Jackie was missing!
Here’s what the owner slash policeman said:
“One-and-a-half year old Jackie was an abandoned pet whom I had recently adopted and kept at the police station. Soon, he became very popular as he played with all the policemen here. So, when he suddenly went missing last month, we all became worried. It was only after the NGO Animals Matter To Me put up a lost dog announcement on their Facebook page, we managed to get a proper lead and finally traced Jackie to a private plot in Aarey Colony.”
To recap that: the police were searching for the dog for three weeks without any luck!!
And it was only when the dog’s photo was uploaded on Facebook, by the animal organization NGO Animals Matter To Me, were they able to track the pup down!
That’s the immense power which Facebook wields!
We’re so happy that the dog and its owner were reunited – that must be a beautiful feeling for both of them!!
But remember, Facebook.
With great power, comes great responsibility!
