Facebook Now Has A Last Will & Testament Feature... Keep Your Friends Posted On Your After-Life From Beyond The Grave!

Well this is… strange.
Facebook added a new feature to its United States users’ pages on Thursday that allows them to select one person to serve as their Legacy Contact.
Which, basically means you get to decide who runs your Facebook if you were to die.
Yes, it’s a little morbid, but it’ll probably really help people grieve if they can remember their loved one with a touching epitaph as opposed to a Buzzfeed article that tells them what kind of swear word they really are.

To utilize this function, go to Settings, Security, and then Legacy Contact, to choose who holds your entire afterlife in their hands.

We’re calling it now:
Legacy Contact proposals are totally the new promise ring.
