Facebook has a habit of doing things that upset people.
Like constantly changing their layout and privacy polices, but the most annoying of all is when they remove a photo for being “inappropriate.”
Nothing seems to get people more up in arms than when a breastfeeding photo is flagged as inappropriate and removed.
About three weeks ago, Facebook snuck a statement into their help page, answering the self-imposed question: “Does Facebook allow photos of mothers breastfeeding?”
Their answer?
“Yes. We agree that breastfeeding is natural and beautiful and we’re glad to know that it’s important for mothers to share their experiences with others on Facebook. The vast majority of these photos are compliant with our policies.
Please note that the photos we review are almost exclusively brought to our attention by other Facebook members who complain about them being shared on Facebook.”
That’s so amazing!!
Finally, women can share beautiful photos of them spending quality time with their cute babies.
