Family Feud Contestant Charged With Murdering His Wife Joked About Regretting His Marriage On The Show!

UPDATE 6/1, 5:35 P.M. PST: Timothy Bliefnick has been found guilty of murdering his wife, Becky Bliefnick. Following a week-long trial in Illinois, he was convicted of first-degree murder and home invasion on Wednesday.

So what does that mean for Timothy? He now faces life in prison for his crimes. However, we won’t know the exact amount of time until his sentencing in August.

Family Feud is known for its crazy questions and sometimes even inappropriate answers — but this man took things in a lethal direction…

39-year-old Timothy Bliefnick was a contestant on the popular show hosted by Steve Harvey in 2019 when he replied in a seemingly tongue-in-cheek way to the question “what’s your biggest regret at your wedding?” His response was “saying ‘I do.'” He did quickly add on that he loves his wife, but yeesh… the fact it was the number two most popular answer is wild!

Answers like these aren’t uncommon on the show, so no one though anything of it — at least until Monday when it was reported Bliefnick had been arrested and charged with the murder of his wife.

Late last month, per several reports, Rebecca Bliefnick was found dead in her home due to apparent gunshot wounds. She and her estranged husband were going through a messy divorce, which then lead to him allegedly breaking and entering into her home and shooting her multiple times. The former game show contestant was charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of home invasion. He’s currently being held without bail.

According to Fox News, the couple had been living separately, but only one mile apart through the duration of their divorce and she had a restraining order against him.

Rebecca leaves behind three sons. Such a tragic and shocking story.
