These movies sure are popular.
But will they prove to be as popular without Paul Walker?
That is what the studios behind the Fast & Furious franchise are banking on.
As well as the other stars in the movie franchise starting with of course Vin Diesel!
Conservations about the film franchise have come about lately especially since the newest one is due for release very soon.

Here’s what Universal Pictures chairperson Donna Langley said:
“I believe it does. We think there’s at least three more [movies]. I think it’s still a growing franchise. We’ll see what happens with Furious 7, obviously, but our box office has grown over the past three or four films and internationally, in particular. So we think that there’s more to mine there. But we’re of course very mindful about fatigue.”
As for Paul Walker, Donna Langley admitted that the actor was a BIG part of the story, but there are enough characters and ways to introduce other characters to hopefully make up for Paul’s huge loss.
Here’s what she said:
“Paul is, and always will be, an integral part of the story. But there are many other great characters, and it’s also an opportunity to introduce new characters.”
We definitely think it’s going to be super hard to compensate for Paul Walker’s loss, but if anyone can do it – it’s the creative minds behind this epic franchise.
However all of this could for naught if people aren’t happy with the newest movie’s results, so we’ll hold off on any future movie talk until we see how this latest one does.
And that release date is coming in April so it’s a little ways to go!!!
