According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, they arrested James Brewington Jr. this week for allegedly causing a fatal head-on collision in November 2025. The 61-year-old allegedly swerved into oncoming traffic while trying to go around a car making a right-hand turn but crashed into another car. The passenger of the other vehicle, Dustin McLeod, was taken to Skyline Medical Center following the crash. However, he sadly didn’t make it. He was only 41 years old.

For his part, Brewington surrendered himself nearly a year later on Thursday. He was booked on warrants for vehicular homicide by reckless conduct, reckless endangerment, and 3 counts of aggravated assault. Then the suspect proceeded to take one of the creepiest mugshots we have ever seen so far! Take a look (below):
