This is like the ultimate home movie!
When his wife Kristin Dickerson went into labor, Troy Dickerson grabbed all of the things they needed for the hospital and hopped in the car. But he also brought along his GoPro to catch it all on video!
What he didn’t realize would happen would be the ten painful minutes he recorded as he drove his car 95 mph to a Houston hospital this past June 28th.
As they arrived at the hospital’s valet service, Troy’s wife realized that she was having the baby right now, and the little guy wasn’t waiting to get inside!
Kristin delivered her baby boy at 2:05 a.m while standing up in front of the hospital. By the time the baby popped out, ten nurses had rushed outside, and their baby boy Truett officially entered the world!
As for her husband filming everything, Kristin has THIS to say about that! Here’s what she said:
“I’m thrilled to have the footage. I’m more hesitant to send it to people, because it’s such an intimate moment for us, but as a birth educator, it’s really cool to let people see that our bodies know what to do.”
Luckily she won’t need to worry too much as the video that her husband has put out is a totally censored version, so there isn’t too much of Kristin for her to be concerned!
And at least she can have something to show her children and grandchildren! You know — when they’re a lot older!
