You win some, you lose some!
As we reported, at Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles, Fergie performed an extremely unique rendition of the U.S. National Anthem that was heavily panned on social media.

On Monday, in a statement obtained by the Hollywood Reporter, the singer addresses the controversy and says she was simply trying out “something special.”
Josh Duhamel‘s ex said:
“I’ve always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA… I’m a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn’t strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best.”
