It’s been one day since the announcement was made that Officer Darren Wilson would NOT be indicted in the shooting death of unarmed Ferguson teen Michael Brown.
While some protested the grand jury’s decision peacefully, others did not.
At least 21 fires were set in/or around Ferguson, and 60 people were arrested for protest-related crimes, including looting and “unlawful assembly.” Since the initial riots, Governor Jay Nixon has sent 2,200 additional National Guard troops into areas of civil unrest.
