Ferragamo is bringing back the only pair of men’s shoes personally designed by Salvatore to pay tribute to the late Andy Warhol.
Warhol owned a pair of the original shoes and often wore them while painting, hence the paint speckles. Following his death the Ferragamo family bought the pair at auction and are now reproducing the pop artist’s shoes.
The limited edition Ferragamo Creations will only be hitting a small amount of the label’s flagship stores and can be yours for $990.
At least the paint speckles make more sense than a $1,650 shirt with holes!
