The pulitzer prize-winning Fifty Shades of Grey author’s book has beaten the record for fastest adult paperback to sell one million copies.
The previous holder, The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, took 36 long weeks to hit one million. James and her nasty Twilight fan fiction only took 11 weeks!
The stats aren’t that shocking. Just last week, the mommy porn sold over 200k copies in the UK last week.
As of today, the erotic novel is the 32nd biggest-selling book since records began in 1998.
We’re like a thousand percent sure that the Fifty Shades of Grey movie will do as well as the book — no matter who they cast! (Though, our vote is Alexander Skarsg├â┬Ñrd!)
We hope E.L. is buying herself some fancyass whips and handcuffs to celebrate!
