Despite the controversy over News of the World hacking cell phones of 9/11 victims, the paper’s final issue sold ABSURD amounts!
According to the latest numbers, the paper sold 3.8 MILLION COPIES on Sunday!!!
We obvi have major issues with the phone hacking claims against NOTW, but we’ll admit we were happy to hear that advertising space in the issue was provided free of charge for charities/good causes.
Guess we’ll see which paper fills the void for Brits now that NOTW is gone…
