THIS Awful Men's Shirt From Forever 21 Seems To Be Making A Joke Out Of Rape

This is really not okay.
Forever 21 really messed up this time.
For some reason, the retailer decided to sell a graphic tee that appeared to poke fun at rape culture. The garment-in-question is a white, men’s T-shirt with bold, black words that say:

“DON’T SAY MAYBE IF YOU WANT TO SAY NO.”

As if the message itself wasn’t horrible enough, it was, in fact, printed in all caps, as if to REALLY burn the offensive, upsetting, and insensitive words into our brains.

Sure, the fashion chain has had its share of scandal in the past, but this one definitely takes the cake.
We really can’t wrap our brains around the fact that the company’s big wigs decided it was a good idea and a smart move to make a MEN’s T-shirt that seems to be mocking rape and consent.
Ch-ch-check out what might be the worst shirt ever made (above).
We’re happy to say that Forever 21 has seen the error of its ways — probably in the form of angry emails and social media comments — and has since removed the horrible piece of clothing from its site.
The retailer said in a statement:

“Forever 21 strives to exemplify the highest ethical standards and takes feedback and product concerns very seriously. With regards to the t-shirt in question, upon receiving feedback from our customers, we took immediate action to have it removed from our website. We sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by the product.”

That being said, we are still incredibly disappointed with the MULTIPLE people who must’ve approved it in the first place, and the fact that even got this far to begin with.
We’re even more upset with anyone who might’ve actually shelled out $19.90 (plus tax and/or shipping and handling) to buy it.
However, we’re glad that disgusting excuse for a shirt is no longer on the webpage.
