Dethroned Miss San Antonio Battles Back In Court

Domonique Ramirez, the 17-year-old who won the title of Miss San Antanio, but was cruelly stripped of her crown because she had allegedly gained too much weight is fighting back in court.
The size 2 former beauty queen alleges that after a bikini photo shoot, pageant officials said:

“I needed to lose 13 pounds and I needed to lay off the tacos.”

Ouch!
We can’t believe that anyone would ever say that to a teenager!
The pageant board’s spokeswoman, Linda Woods, took the stand and defended their decision, saying:

“Domonique is not fat, by any stretch of the imagination. She’s a beautiful girl, but she wasn’t ready for Miss Texas.”

Instead, she claims the board gave Ramirez the boot because Domonique was chronically late and refused to send thank you letters.
Hmm, if that was the case, maybe reminding this poor girl of her responsibilities would have been more appropriate then giving her the ax AFTER they told her to lose weight.
Domonique doesn’t particularly care for the throne anymore either and is suing on the behalf of the principle of the the matter, saying:

“It’s not about the crown. I don’t absolutely need this crown to survive. It has nothing to do with that. It’s the principle of the fact. The fact that I was wronged and it can happen to anybody.”

Good luck in court, Domonique! We hope you get what you deserve!
