Police in the Philadelphia area have their hands full this week after former Playboy model Christina Carlin-Kraft was found dead in her apartment in the suburb of Lower Merion on Wednesday night.
Authorities say the 36-year-old, who was discovered during a welfare check following a call about a possible robbery at her condominium, was apparently strangled to death.

The Montgomery (PA) County coroner’s office has since performed an autopsy, during which they were able to confirm Carlin-Kraft’s death was a homicide due to “ligature strangulation,” likely meaning the killer used a rope or some other similar instrument to inflict death.
According to reports, the former model had just moved into the complex; she had most recently previously lived in New York City, according to her Facebook page.
Authorities have not yet publicly named a suspect for the murder, and it’s still unclear whether the reported robbery call that began this whole thing is related in any way to her murder.
Regardless, it’s a sad, scary, and violent ending to a young woman’s life cut far too short. So heartbreaking.
