Former President George W. Bush took a weeklong trip to Zambia in Africa recently.
While there, he helped to renovate a women’s cancer screening center! How great!
Wearing an average Joe’s t-shirt and jeans, the ex-prez painted and hauled lumber for the Ngungu Health Center in Kabwe.
The center, once finished, will be able to screen and treat women for cervical cancer and pre-cancer.
Bush and his wife were there promoting the partnership between the George W. Bush Institute, the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, UNAIDS and Susan G. Komen for the Cure organizations.
So great that they’re spending their time helping others!
