The bump has popped and it’s a boy!
Former Private Practice star KaDee Strickland and her husband Jason Behr welcomed a healthy son into their lives this past Thursday on October 17th.
And they named him after the greatest character from one of the greatest books ever!
The child’s name is Atticus!!!
Here’s what the family’s rep said in a statement:
“[They had a] intimate birth in their Los Angeles home with the assistance and care of midwives and a doula. The family is overjoyed, happy and in great health.”
That’s wonderful!
Apparently the choice of what to name their son came down to the To Kill A Mockingbird character and a certain amazing Stephen Colbert.
KaDee tweeted:
@StephenAtHome we were thinking of naming our newborn son Stephen Cole Behr. Has a nice ring to it, don't you think?

But we guess she decided against it because she immediately tweeted:

We think they made the right choice anyways!
Atticus is a wonderful name, and we hope they take lots and lots of wonderful pictures in the next coming days to share with the world!
