Former U.S. Senator Ted Stevens Dies In Plane Crash

Ted Stevens, the longest-serving Republic senator in U.S. history, was killed in a small plane crash today in Alaska.
A family friend said that Stevens was one of five who passed in the crash.
Stevens was known as “Uncle Ted” in Alaska and was named “Alaskan of the Century” in 2000 by the state legislature.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones.
