Following the unspeakably tragic news of Cory Monteith’s death, Fox executives will be meeting today to begin making decisions about Glee’s Season 5 direction
The writers team will be forced to choose how to go about the show’s first two episodes, originally meant to have heavily featured Cory’s return to Glee.
While the network had planned to premiere the show├óΓé¼Γäós fifth season earlier than usual, so as to avoid issues with their post-season baseball broadcasts, it is still unclear whether production — scheduled to begin next week — and the subsequent premiere date will be pushed back.
Stay tuned for more details. But whatever they choose to do, hopefully it will be respectful of the “Frankenteen” who was such an important part of the Gleek fandom, as well as respect the grief of his friends and co-stars.
