Fox News commentator and TV personality Bre Payton is dead at 26 after being found unconscious earlier this week at a friend’s home in San Diego.

The TV personality, who had also worked for a number of other right-wing and conservative TV stations and online outlets, was visiting a friend down in San Diego this week when she was found unresponsive on Thursday morning.
As her friend, Morgan Murtaugh, noted on Instagram after the incident, Payton later passed away (below):
Ugh. So, so awful.
TMZ reports that it “appears [Payton] was suffering from meningitis,” but authorities have yet to conclusively determine a cause of death. So, so sad — doubly so, considering she was just 26 years old.
