Uh, oh!
Frankie Valli of The Four Seasons is suing six former cast members of Jersey Boys for copying the show on their own concert tour called The Boys In Concert.
Frankie is claiming that their show steals songs, stage elements and copyrighted logos to convince their audience that it’s affiliated with the popular Broadway musical.
Valli wants $150K for each of the 10 songs performed during The Boys In Concert as well as all of their profits from the show and damages for “unfair competition and copyright infringement.”
Yikes!
It sounds like he might have a point — or is he just being greedy?
