This woman cannot be denied!
Former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords is writing a book! She and her out-of-this-world husband — astronaut Mark Kelly — are penning a paperback about gun control!
It’s called Enough: Our Fight to Keep America Safe from Gun Violence. It’s based upon a New York Times essay she authored in the wake of the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012.
In a statement, her husband offered:
“’Enough’ was one of the first words Gabby said to me after we learned about the Newtown, Connecticut, massacre. As second amendment supporters and gun owners ourselves, we hope our book rouses the long-overdue conversation our country needs to make responsible changes to our gun laws so that no more precious lives are lost.”
Wow! Responsible changes to gun laws sounds like a worthwhile topic of discussion to us!!
And we can hardly think of anyone more qualified to discuss their destructive power than Gabby, who was shot in the head during an assassination attempt back in early 2011.
Enough will hit shelves in June!
