Gallagher Attacker Sentenced To House Arrest!

The man who attacked Noel Gallagher onstage back in 2008 has been sentenced to a year under house arrest!

48-year-old Daniel Sullivan lunged at Noel during an Oasis concert in Toronto, pummeling him to the ground and leaving him with three broken ribs!

Sullivan pleaded guilty to causing bodily harm in December 2009 and admitted that he was drunk at the time and didn’t exactly remember how the events unfolded. He returned to court today to receive his sentence of staying home for the next 12 months.

Noel Gallagher said that the incident halted promotion of their new album and that the “opportunity was lost.”

Well that doesn’t matter too much now since he quit the band after a fight with brother Liam!

But we’re glad the offender is being punished — that shiz is NOT cool!
